Weekly Community Lunches
Every week we provide the community with a hot lunch and a chance to eat together. We offer two main lunch options, one meat and one vegetarian, as well as jacket potatoes, salad and a pudding.
Between Nov 23 & Nov 24 we provided an average of 56 meals per session.
Our busiest Wednesday was on the 6th November, with over 74 people joining our community lunch and a total of 110 individuals visiting our Warm Space on that day alone!
Community Wellbeing Service
Our Community Wellbeing Service provides local people with a safe, supportive space to offload. Maddison our Wellbeing Service Manager, is a NLP qualified mentor, life-coach & counsellor.
Our service is not restricted to 6 sessions and we operate a Pay What You Can (PWYC) model to support those who would otherwise be unable to pay for services to access support.
IAG & Advocacy
Across all of our projects, our compassionate & knowledgable staff offer members of the community information, advice, guidance & advocacy.
This might include making referrals to other organisations, such as foodbanks, or providing in-depth and ongoing community support to help people not just to survive but to thrive.
Between November 2023 and November 2024 we provided more than 3,000 hours of community support and dealt with more than 1,083 queries, referrals or offers of direct support.
Co-Work
In order to keep our co-working space open we charge most people for its use. But, this can be a barrier to some people who could benefit from working in a collaborative & supportive space.
We have supported people who are unemployed and looking for work, start-up enterprises & students with workspace.
The best way to support this programme is to become a coworker or to pay it forward for someone who cannot afford to use the space.
